The image in question shows both Batman and Superman in the same room staring each other down. We see Ben Affleck’s character glaring at Henry Cavill as he is chained up and maskless. We only see Superman’s back as he confronts Batman.

The Knightmare scene was one of the film’s most bizarre scenes. While waiting for a file to decrypt, Batman passes out at his computer and has a nightmare where Superman has turned the world into an apocalyptic landscape and was heavily implied to be under Darkseid’s control. Ben Affleck’s character was leading a resistance against Superman and his forces before being tricked, captured and ultimately killed by Henry Cavill’s character. He then woke up to The Flash giving him a warning before waking up completely. The scene, while clearly meant to foreshadow something in Justice League, sadly never paid off in the following film.
What did you all think of the Knightmare scene in the film? Did it make any sense? Should it have paid off better in Justice League? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
