VIDEO: Fan Pays Tribute To Ben Affleck’s Time As Batman In The DCEU

Flashback FilmMaking released fan-made video paying tribute to Ben Affleck and his performance as Batman in the DC Extended Universe.

Ben Affleck made his debut as the Caped Crusader in Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman and although the film received mixed reviews, fans generally regarded the actor’s performance as one of the best portrayals of the Dark Knight. While Ben Affleck reprised his role in Justice League, rumors claiming he would retire from the role persisted for over a year and the actor himself finally confirmed his exit in a social media post last night. Now, a fan-made video pays tribute to Ben Affleck and his portrayal of the Caped Crusader in the DC Extended Universe.

You can watch the video below!

Plot details for Matt Reeves’ upcoming film are currently under wraps, though the film will center around a younger Caped Crusader and includes multiple villains. Matt Reeves also confirmed that it will not be directly based on Frank Miller’s Year One comic and will make full use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous films.

The film is one of many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC Films. These projects include Flash standalone film, Green Lantern CorpsBirds of PreyBlack AdamSuicide Squad 2NightwingSupergirlPlastic Man, New Gods, a Deathstroke film, and a Joker origin movie set outside of the DCEU.
