Fans can finally get a glimpse at what David Mazouz could look like as Batman in the upcoming Gotham series finale.
After five years of waiting, Fox’s Gotham will finally put Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) in the Batsuit for the series finale. The actor has donned costumes on the series in the past but for Gotham’s fifth and final season, David Mazouz will officially transform into Batman.
Gotham has yet to reveal exactly what David Mazouz will look like as Batman but talented artist Bryan Fiallos took to Instagram to reveal his interpretation of the highly-anticipated moment. There’s still no telling exactly how much of David Mazouz in the Batsuit fans will see, but this awesome art is sure to tide fans over until the series finale airs. Check out the incredible fan art in the post below.

One other iconic DC character that has yet to make an official appearance in Gotham is the Joker. The show has hinted at the possibility of multiple people becoming the Joker over its five seasons but the actor to come closest to playing the official Joker for this universe is Cameron Monaghan. The actor has played twin brothers on Gotham, both of which have given David Mazouz’s Bruce Wayne plenty of trouble and both of which have shown very Jokeresque characteristics.
Cameron Monaghan’s current character Jeremiah seems to be on his way to becoming the official Joker due to the events of the most recent episode. This past Thursday, episode seven of this current season featured Jeremiah falling into a vat of ACE chemicals and winding-up in full-body bandages, unconscious.
Although Gotham is coming to an end, a new spin-off series is on the horizon. Alfred Pennyworth, played by Sean Pertwee, is getting his own prequel series simply titled Pennyworth, which will air on the EPIX channel later this year. Because the show will focus on Alfred in his younger years, Sean Pertwee will not be returning to the role and instead actor Jack Bannon will play the iconic Batman ally.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Gotham as soon as more information becomes available. Do you think the art is an accurate representation of what fans will see in the series finale? Do you wish David Mazouz would play Batman in his own solo series?
