Batman: Arkham Knight came out four years ago and many DC fans have been highly anticipating what Rocksteady’s next project could be. Many rumors have been floated around over the years. There have been rumors that Rocksteady has been developing a project centered on Superman, the Justice League, and Batman once again.
Rocksteady has come out saying that they are not doing a Superman game, but their next project has been said that it will blow fans’ minds. Every year, fans hope Rocksteady will finally announce the highly-secretive project at E3. However, it seems fans will have to wait a bit longer as Rocksteady game director and co-founder Sefton Hill tweeted that the studio will not be at this year’s gaming convention:
Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham games are highly praised by both fans and critics alike. The games also feature the voicing talents of Batman: The Animated Series veterans Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill as Batman and Joker respectively. With an announcement not coming at this year’s E3, do you think the game could be for next-generation consoles? When do you think we will learn about the game? Which DC character do you think the game is about? Sound off in the comments below!
Despite Rocksteady staying silent on their upcoming project, E3 will still have plenty of good stuff. EA will share gameplay footage for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and the first look at Square Enix’s Avengers game will finally be revealed.
EA Play kicks off this Saturday with E3 following June 11-13 in Los Angeles.
