Ben Affleck's Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman will fight over who will be 'Justice League' team leader in the Zack Snyder movie.
In a recent interview, Superman actor Henry Cavill said that he and Ben Affleck’s Batman will fight each other over team leadership.
“There’s pretty much an argument between him and Batman as to who is the leader.”
Obviously Superman will somehow rise from the dead in time to be in the movie, but it’ll be interesting to see if this happens onscreen or not. It looks like Batman will assume leadership at first because he’s there and from what we’ve seen, he and Wonder Woman will be responsible for getting the rest of the Justice League team together.
Cavill says, however, that the argument over leadership won’t get so intense as their fight did the first time around. Rather, it’ll be more of a banter between the two characters rather than any physical or tension-filled fight.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justice League is out in theaters November 17, 2017.
