The Caped Crusader has been no stranger to crossing over with other characters before in comic books. Recently, Batman was featured in a comic book storyline by James Tynion IV and Freddie Williams II that had him crossover with The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The film is set to have to famous ninjas unite forces with the Dark Knight to face off against some of his villains.
Warner Bros. Animation, DC Entertainment, and Nickelodeon are coming together to bring Batman and The Teenage Ninja Turtles together on screen. It seems that the caped crusader and teenage group of ninjas will come together through a transdimensional encounter this spring. The film is set to feature DC villains Bane, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Ra’s al Ghul. With these villains present in the film it seems we may be in for a couple of amazing fight sequences.
Having The Teenage Ninja Mutant Ninja Turtles stand alongside the dark knight and his villains will sure be an interesting moment for fans of the heroes. The comic book storyline that had the heroes crossover featured an interesting storyline between the Foot Clan and League of Shadows that fans may get a glimpse of in the upcoming film. With both villain groups sharing similarities it would make for an interesting battle.
