‘Batman v Superman’ Concept Artist Reveals Early Design For Ben Affleck’s Armor

Concept artist Jerad S.Marantz has revealed an early design and a 3D model of Ben Affleck’s armor in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice saw Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader dawn the iconic armor from Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns. Now, concept artist Jerad S.Marantz unveiled an early design and a 3D model of the armor Ben Affleck’s Batman wore and commented on his experience designing the outfit:

“More shots of my rough model for the #batmanarmoredsuit I had an incredible time working with the team on this. Big thank you to costume designer Michael Wilkinson, Stephanie PORTER, Warren Manser, and everyone else involved. Jose Fernandes and his team at @ironhead_studio Did a phenomenal job bringing this guy to life. There has only been a handful of moments in my life where the job really fulfilled the comic book fan in me. This was definitely one of those moments.”
