‘Batman v Superman’ Concept Art Reveals Alternate Armor For Ben Affleck

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice concept artist Jerad S.Marantz has revealed an alternate design for the armor worn by Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader.

Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman featured the Caped Crusader’s iconic armor from Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns, though the armor worm by Ben Affleck for his showdown with Henry Cavill’s Superman was slightly less bulky than the comic book version. However, concept artist Jerad S.Marantz revealed an earlier design that more closely resembled the bulky armor featured in the comics:

“Here’s an earlier, bulkier version of the #batmanarmor for #batmanvsuperman. Really tried to pull from the mass he had in The Dark Knight Returns.”
