‘Beauty and the Beast’ Academy Awards TV Spot Hits The Web

Disney released a brand new TV spot for Beauty and the Beast tonight during the Academy Awards tonight that is now available online

Disney released a brand new TV spot for the upcoming Beauty and the Beast live-action adaptation during the Academy Awards tonight. The spot invites you into the enchanted castle, giving yet another epic look at the remake of the tale as old as time.

You can watch it below.

Beauty and the Beast is less than a month away from hitting theaters. The film is currently tracking for a monstrous debut at $120 million opening weekend in North America. Just last week, Disney released a clip of Emma Watson singing the film’s opening number, “Belle”.

The remake brings to life all of the characters from the original. In addition, film will also introduce a new character made just for the film: a harpsichord named Cadenza, voiced by Stanley Tucci.

The film stars Emma Watson as Belle, Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Josh Gad as Le Fou, Ewan McGregor as Lumière, Sir Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Kevin Kline as Belle’s father Maurice, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette. Here’s the official synopsis:

In this live-action re-imagining of the fairy tale, a young woman (Emma Watson) takes her father’s place as prisoner in a beast’s castle, only to fall in love with her beastly captor (Dan Stevens), who turns out to be a prince.

Beauty and the Beast hits theaters March 17, 2017.
