As you can see, the cover recreates the ballroom scene from the 1991 animated movie in which Belle wears her iconic yellow dress. The film’s version of said dress was designed by costume designer Jacqueline Durran, who won an Academy Award for her work on 2012’s Anna Karenina.
Directed by Bill Condon, the film also stars Luke Evans as Gaston, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Josh Gad as LeFou, Stanley Tucci as Cadenza, Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Babette and Audra McDonald as Wardrobe.
In addition to never-before-seen images and new details, fans can also expect interviews with the stars and the director of the movie, as well as Alan Menken and Tim Rice, who penned the songs on the original film and will return to write three new songs for the live-action adaptation.
