The spring issue gives members of The Official Disney Fan Club the chance to go behind the scenes of the upcoming remake of Beauty and the Beast.
Disney’s live-action remake of its animated classic Beauty and the Beast is just over a month and a half way. Over the last week, we’ve gotten the final trailer and the reveal that Josh Groban would be covering “Evermore”, one of Alan Menken’s three new original songs written just for the remake. Earlier today Disney also released Ariana Grande and John Legend’s cover of the film’s title track.
Action Figure Insider has now revealed that in the spring issue of Disney’s Twenty Three magazine, Disney will give gold members of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club the exclusive chance to go behind the scenes and hear from stars Emma Watson and Josh Gad, as well as director Bill Condon as they reveal the challenges involved with creating the film and the heartfelt moments they experienced on set.“When a musical works and you feel that kind of thrill of taking off, I think it’s like nothing else,” Condon told the magazine.

The film also stars Dan Stevens as the Beast, Luke Evans as Gaston, Ewan McGregor as Lumière, Sir Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, Kevin Kline as Belle’s father Maurice, Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Plumette. Stanley Tucci will also play harpsichord named Cadenza, a brand new character created just for the film. Here’s the official synopsis:
In this live-action re-imagining of the fairy tale, a young woman (Emma Watson) takes her father’s place as prisoner in a beast’s castle, only to fall in love with her beastly captor (Dan Stevens), who turns out to be a prince.
Beauty and the Beast hits theaters March 17, 2017.
