Armie Hammer proves he’d make the perfect replacement for Ben Affleck in future DCEU films as he dons the Batman Rebirth suit in this new image.
Without question, one of the most popular characters in pop culture is Bruce Wayne/Batman. Hollywood started this particular affair with back in the 1960s with Adam West and his goofy interpretation of the Caped Crusader. Years later Tim Burton and Michael Keaton brought a rather gritty and noir Batman to cinemas, somewhat loosely inspired by Frank Miller’s take on the character in the famous The Dark Knight Returns graphic novel. After that, came Val Kilmer, followed by George Clooney with Joel Schumacher’s highly criticized version, which showed a more flashy and lighter take on the Caped Crusader. Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale then elevated the superhero genre with legendary Dark Knight trilogy, with the help of Heath Ledger’s iconic performance as Joker of course. Lastly, Ben Affleck would embody the most comic accurate version of Bruce Wayne in live-action ever for the DC Extended Universe.
After Ben Affleck announced his departure from the role, fans are more eager than ever to know who’s going to pick up the mantle as Batman next for Matt Reeves’ new take on the Caped Crusader. There’s a lot of names and rumors going back and forth, but fans seem to stick by Armie Hammer. Armie Hammer is one of the most frequent actors fans like to imagine as Ben Affleck’s successor, and now, we get to see him in the Batman Rebirth. Check out the image below!

Even though Armie Hammer has denied any link to Matt Reeves’ The Batman at the moment, fans still want him to be the next Bruce Wayne. It’s safe to say that a replacement for Ben Affleck in The Batman won’t be revealed anytime soon, but fans are eager to know more about who the next Bruce Wayne is going to be. Reports say that Reeves may be looking for an actor in his late twenties that can portray a Batman with some experience, so this could rule out any chance for Armie Hammer.
