Fan Imagines Ben Affleck’s Batman & Jared Leto’s Joker At Odds

In 2016, DC’s most iconic villain/hero duo returned to the big screen. In March of that year, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hit the big screen and introduced audiences to Ben Affleck’s Batman for the first time. The Caped Crusader made his return just a few months later when Suicide Squad opened in theaters. This time, Batman had only a brief appearance clashing with his arch-nemesis, the Joker.

Jared Leto’s Joker was quite twisted in Suicide Squad, spending a lot of time getting up in people’s faces and making them uncomfortable with his seemingly-permanent smile. Ben Affleck and Jared Leto’s iconic rivals eventually earned themselves their own Hot Toys figures. These figures were recently used to create an awesome image posted on Reddit by username NoctisLucisCaleum. Check out the impressive photo in the post below.

Ben Affleck and Jared Leto’s characters only had a brief moment together in Suicide Squad but this image proves that the two deserve some more screentime together in the future. Matt Reeves’ The Batman has been in development for quite a while but it was reported earlier this month that the most recent rewrite of the script is due by the end of the year. Hopefully, that will mean that the Joker and Batman will clash on the big screen once more at some point in the future, though it hasn’t been confirmed that Leto will appear in Reeves’ film.
