Ben Barnes Loves The Images Of Him Replacing Ben Affleck As Batman

Ben Barnes has taken to social media to share his love for the images featuring The Punisher actor replacing Ben Affleck as Batman after the actor vacated the role last month.

After sharing an image of himself replacing Ben Affleck as Batman last weekend, Ben Barnes took to social media today to praise popular fan artist BossLogic who recently shared a piece featuring the actor portraying the iconic DC superhero.

In his post, Ben Barnes reshared the art of him replacing Ben Affleck as Batman and said that it’s “such an honor to have the supremely talented & creative @bosslogic include you in any of the digital comic magic he weaves.” You can check out his post below!

Official plot details have yet to be revealed but Matt Reeves’ project has been long rumored to feature a younger Caped Crusader. In addition to The Penguin, a rogues gallery of Batman villains are also rumored to appear. While the film’s inspiration remains unclear, the director himself has confirmed that the film will not be directly based on Frank Miller’s Year One comic and will focus on Batman as the World’s Greatest Detective more than the previous films have before.

The Batman is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC Films, including The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Black Adam, Cyborg, Supergirl, New Gods, and Nightwing.

Following Aquaman, which is now playing, the DCEU continues in April with Shazam! on April 5, 2019, which will be followed by Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) on February 7, 2020, and Wonder Woman 1984 on June 5, 2020. A standalone Joker film set outside of the DC Films universe starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Crime is also set to hit theaters October 4, 2019.
