Bat v Clown: Dawn of the Snyder Cut.
After the recent news that Jared Leto is returning for additional filming on Zack Snyder’s Justice League, this cool artwork imagines the DC Comics villain facing off against Ben Affleck’s Batman in an eerie scene. Leto isn’t the only actor from the DC Extended Universe returning to the film, with Aquaman star Amber Heard also involved in the Zack Snyder Cut reshoots. Fans were originally disappointed that the DC Extended Universe didn’t pit Ben Affleck and Jared Leto against each other in a film, but this fan art shows off what that stand-off could look like.
The Justice League artwork comes from digital artist ‘mizuriau’ on Instagram and uses a still of Jared Leto’s Joker from Suicide Squad put together with an intimidating shot of Ben Affleck’s Batman as they stand on opposite sides of a murky room. Although the response to Leto’s performance was divided, it’s hard to deny that this scene would be fascinating to see. Since the history between the hero and the Clown Prince of Crime was only teased in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, fans were left making up their own theories about the dead Robin whose suit Bruce Wayne kept in the Batcave. Take a look at the fan art below.
What do you make of the design? Would you like to see Jared Leto’s Joker take on Ben Affleck’s Batman? Are you excited to see Justice League? Let us know in the comments section!
