‘Justice League’ Star Ben Affleck Honors Real Life Heroes On National Superhero Day

Today is National Superhero Day and while many fans are giving respect to their favorite fictional heroes, actor Ben Affleck has taken the time to remember the real life heroes who make our world a better and safer place. Affleck, who portrays Bruce Wayne/Batman in this November’s Justice League, posted a message on his official Twitter account honoring the men and women who risk their lives and reach out to help others on a regular basis.

Ben Affleck will return as the Caped Crusader when Justice League hits theaters later this year.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. Justice League will be released in theaters on November 17, 2017.
