‘Justice League’: Ben Affleck Shows His Support For The Zack Snyder Cut Movement

Former Batman actor Ben Affleck wants to see the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League.

Today is the two-year anniversary of the live-action Justice League movie and its stars are showing their support for its original director Zack Snyder. Earlier today, Ray Fisher and Gal Gadot shared messages about the Zack Snyder cut and now former Batman actor Ben Affleck is also showing his support for the “#ReleaseTheSnyderCut” movement.

Ben Affleck took to his official Twitter page to share the movement’s hashtag, becoming the latest Justice League star to express his desire to see Zack Snyder’s original vision for the movie. You can check out his tweet below.

Shorty afterwards, Zack Snyder responded to Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck’s tweets with the following:

Zack Snyder left the director’s chair of Justice League due to a family tragedy. He was replaced by The Avengers director Joss Whedon, who oversaw the film’s reshoots and post-production process. Meanwhile, Ben Affleck is no longer Batman, as Robert Pattinson is replacing him as the Caped Crusader.

Here’s the official synopsis of Justice League:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, J. K. Simmons, and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League is now available on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital HD. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding Zack Snyder, Ben Affleck and the future of the DC Extended Universe.
