Did Ben Affleck Just Tease Role In Kevin Smith’s ‘Jay & Silent Bob Reboot’?

While promoting his new film Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, Kevin Smith revealed to Entertainment Weekly that there will be appearances from “three different Batmans in the movie.” When asked about the identities of who he may be referring to, Kevin Smith declined to answer. However, a recent tweet from Ben Affleck has added some fuel to the fire.

Recently, Kevin Smith tweeted a photo from Jay and Silent Bob Reboot that reimagines the Bluntman and Chronic comic book story for a modern revamp. The photo has a striking resemblance to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, of which Ben Affleck famously appeared in as the Caped Crusader. Ben Affleck replied to Kevin Smith’s tweet, exclaiming the famous Bluntman and Chronic quote, “Snoochie booches!” You can check out Ben Affleck’s tweet reply to Kevin Smith down below:

Ben Affleck was one of Kevin Smith’s most frequent collaborators early on in their respective careers, having appeared in Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jersey Girl, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Clerks II. The potential reunion between Ben Affleck and Kevin Smith would be a bit surprising, given Kevin Smith’s previous comments regarding their professional relationship having been non-existent for several years.

It would be particularly interesting if Ben Affleck plays one of the titular characters in the Bluntman and Chronic reboot in some sort of meta-twist, in obvious reference to his role as Batman in the DC Extended Universe before passing on the cape and cowl to Robert Pattinson.
