‘Birds Of Prey’ Actor Teases Joker & Harley Quinn Break-Up; Villainous Role

Birds of Prey just got a little more interesting as one of its actors recently shined the light on his own role in the movie as well as some additional nuggets involving Harley Quinn and the Joker.

Actor Robert Catrini took to his personal Twitter account to tantilize fans about his own villainous role in Birds of Prey. That was not all, however. Catrini also gave us some insight into what has transpired between the Joker and Harley Quinn since the we last saw them in a loving embrace at the conclusion of Suicide Squad. In his tweet, the actor referenced the fact that Harley Quinn and her troup do not particularly like Catrini’s character. Moreover, he explicitly stated that Harley Quinn and the Joker have officially broken up:

“I’ll be a little busy this week. & broke up. She has a few new interesting friends. They do NOT like me. via my MAIN PAGE: RobertCatrini on imdb .com. IG: robertcatrini_sagactor”

DC Comics’ Birds of Prey are an international crimefighting team featuring heroines such as Oracle (Barbara Gordon), Black Canary (Dinah Laurel Lance) and the Huntress (Helena Bertinelli). The comic book teams current lineup consists of Black Canary, Huntress, and Lady Blackhawk, along with Hawk and Dove.

Directed by Cathy Yan from a script penned by Bumblebee writer Christina Hodson, Birds of Prey stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, Ewan, McGregor as Black Mask, and Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Ali Wong, Robert Catrini, and Michael Masini have also been cast in undisclosed roles.

Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) hits theaters on February 7, 2020.
