The upcoming slate of DC Extended Universe movies presents a very unconventional set of comic book films. Fans will be able to see beloved heroes grace the screen in Wonder Woman 1984 and Shazam! but some villains and side characters will also be headlining their own movies. Joaquin Phoenix stars as the titular villain in Joker, which hits theaters in October, then shortly after that Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) hits the big screen with possibly the most unconventional title for a superhero movie ever, or at least one of them.
Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) will bring Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn back to the big screen along with beloved DC characters such as Huntress, Black Mask, Black Canary, and Victor Zsasz. The sadistic killer Victor Zsasz has been portrayed by many actors and now Chris Messina will bring the horrific Batman villain to life. While attending the Golden Globes tonight, it seems that Messina may have revealed his new look for the role. Check out the actor’s new hairdo in the post below.
Victor Zsasz was most recently portrayed by actor Anthony Carrigan on the Fox television series Gotham, which is currently airing it’s fifth and final season. The villain’s last big screen appearance was in 2005’s Batman Begins.
