Dwayne Johnson signed up for the role of Black Adam years ago and fans have been wondering when his big screen debut as the iconic anti-hero will happen. After many years in development, there is now a report that the film’s latest draft has reached the powers that be over at the DC Extended Universe.
That Hashtag Show reports that Adam Szytkiel, who was tasked with writing the script for the Dwayne Johnson film, has turned in his latest draft for Black Adam. According to the site, the script includes Hawkman, Stargirl, and Atom Smasher. Stargirl and Atom Smasher are known DC Comics heroes that are part of the Justice Society of America .
Both Atom Smasher and Stargirl have often been portrayed as a couple in the comics so perhaps that could happen in the film as well. As for Hawkman, he is known to have come to battle with Black Adam in the comics. Carter Hall, a.k.a. Hawkman, is a hero that can come to-to-toe with Black Adam and if so it would be exciting to see Dwayne Johnson fight against the popular DC Comics character.
