Marvel has had comic books releases around the same time of certain films that share similar attributes. For example during the release of Captain America: Civil War, Marvel had a comic event titled “Civil War II” and during the release of Avengers: Infinity War there was the Marvel comic event “Infinity Wars.” Could it be possible that there is some correlation between comics and films? If there is, then it is possible we may be seeing the debut of Black Knight in Avengers: Endgame.
As part of the True Believers one-shots this April, Marvel is reprinting Avengers #71, titled “Endgame,” and Avengers #343, which has a four-part story called “The Gatherers Saga.” Both of these comics include the Marvel superhero Black Knight. Most of the one-shots revolve around important characters feature in Avengers: Endgame, so Marvel might be hinting at the introduction of Black Knight.
The superhero just so happens to have been mentioned around before, as there have been rumors about Marvel bringing Black Knight to the big screen. With more recent focus on the Quantum Realm, it may possible that Marvel may bring the superhero to the film through there. Perhaps Black Knight could play a role in helping our beloved heroes in Avengers: Endgame.
What do you think of the character possibly making his big screen debut? Are there any other heroes you wish to make an appearance in the film? Share your thoughts below!
A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame is expected to star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.
