Here’s When ‘Black Panther 2’ & ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ Begin Filming

Start dates for Black Panther 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 may have been revealed by new production grids.

In a time where everything is uncertain, we keep getting news about when movies will go into production or hit theaters. This time that news comes from The Direct. According to the website, new production grids for Black Panther 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 reveal that both movies will begin to shoot in early 2021.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is listed to begin production on February 1, 2021, while Black Panther 2 is listed to start on March 1, 2021. Black Panther 2 has a really good chance to hit that start date, but I believe that possible coronavirus delays on James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad may force Marvel Studios to push back the start date for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Although, Gunn seems pretty confident that The Suicide Squad will be released as planned.

Black Panther and the Guardians of the Galaxy were last seen in Avengers: Endgame. Here is the official synopsis for the Marvel Studios movie:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Avengers: Endgame is now available on Digital HD, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
