‘Black Panther’: Michael B. Jordan Gets Ripped For His Role

Michael B. Jordan has been really working out and putting in some pounds for his role as Erik Killmonger in the upcoming Black Panther movie, due in theaters next year. And as seen in this Instagram photo of him at the gym, the actor, who was already quite fit to begin with, seems to be beefing up even more!

His caption reads.

‘You can only fool reality until the truth comes knocking on your door. #StillWorkin’

While being cast in a superhero movie role can prove to be a daunting task for your body, Jordan has proved he’s more than ready to take on the challenge, just as he did for his roles on Fantastic Four and Creed. Physicality just seems to be another skill of the talented actor.

So are you excited to see Jordan as Killmonger (a.k.a. N’Jadaka) in next year’s Black Panther? Do you think he’ll be a main villain in this first movie? Sound off in the comments below!

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther, as well as Sterling K. Brown (The People v. O.J. Simpson) as N’Jobu, Forest Whitaker (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) as Zuri and Lupita Nyong’o (Queen of Katwe) as Nakia, among others, and is set to be released on February 16, 2018.
