Academy Award winner and Black Panther star Lupita Nyong’o is at the top of the list to play the next Bond girl in the 25th James Bond film opposite Daniel Craig.
The next James Bond film is looking to pack some Academy Award Winning heat and with Rami Malek in final negotiations to play the villain in the next film, eyes have turned to who will play the next Bond girl. And now it looks like we might have our answer. According to Deadline, Black Panther star Lupita Nyong’o is the top choice to play the next Bond girl.
If all goes well the Black Panther star will join Daniel Craig, Rami Malek and Billy Mangussen in what might be Daniel Craig’s final go at Bond. The film is rumored to bring back Christoph Waltz as the villainous Blofeld and is filming under the working title Shatterhand.

Daniel Craig wowed critics and audiences when he made his debut as James Bond in 2006’s Casino Royale. The actor brought something new and fresh to the character of James Bond and audiences have been asking for more since his performance in that movie. Craig returned for three more movies after Casino Royale, with Skyfall becoming one of the franchise’s most successful films. Daniel Craig is now ready to return one last time as the famous MI6 spy for a final film that will hopefully bring his story full circle.
Bond 25 is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and will be bringing Daniel Craig back as James Bond along with Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Wishaw, and Lea Seydoux.
