Lupita N'yongo discusses playing Nakia in Marvel's 'Black Panther,' including some of the tough stunt choreography that she had to perform.
While sitting down with The Hollywood Reporter, Lupita Nyong’o played a game called Fishing For Answers, where she answered a series of rapid-fire questions. Here’s what she had to say she was asked about her toughest Black Panther stunt:
“Oh man, there were quite a few…I had to scissor this guy with my legs, so like basically jump up and throw my legs forward and wrap my legs around his waist and take him down. That was quite hard to learn.”
You can see Lupita Nyong’o’s answer to that question and more in the video below.

Here’s the film’s official synopsis:
“Marvel Studios’ Black Panther follows T’Challa (Boseman) who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.”
