Marvel’s Black Panther will follow the story of T’Challa, King of the fictional African country of Wakanda. As of right now, it isn’t clear if the entire film will be taking place in Wakanda or if T’Challa and his cohorts will be traveling to other places as part of he storyline. Black Panther is directed by Ryan Coogler and stars Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa (Black Panther), Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross, Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabi, Angela Bassett as Ramonda, Forest Whitaker as Zuri, Florence Kasumba as Ayo, John Kani as T’Chaka, Sterling K. Brown as N’Jobu, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Kilmonger, Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue, Winston Duke as M’Baku (Man-Ape), and Phylicia Rashad.
The film is set to hit theaters on February 16, 2018.
