If you think about it, this is par for the course for Natasha. Between Iron Man 2 to…well, Infinity War, Black Widow has had a different hairstyle in every film. She changes her hair as often as Captain America changes costumes. But apparently, according to one eagle-eyed fan on the Marvel Studios Subreddit, there are two scenes in the trailer for Avengers: Endgame where Natasha’s hair doesn’t appear to be all there. Or, at least, it’s there, but handled by some very high tech computers.
The two shots in particular from the Avengers: Endgame trailer include one scene where Black Widow is talking to Steve Rogers, and the other when she visits Clint Barton. It’s possible that this could be done to throw off audience goers. After all, that running shot from the first Infinity War trailer didn’t make it into the final product. It wouldn’t be the first time that a scene in the trailer was either faked or ultimately went unused. But here, have a look at the post for yourself and see if you agree:
On first glance, Black Widow’s hair in those Avengers: Endgame shots may not appear CGI. To the Reddit user’s trained eye, apparently, Natasha’s CGI hair could be used to perhaps hide a time jump. Ultimately, though, we’ll find out whether Widow’s hair is all there or not when the film hits theaters next April. What do you think, though? Does Natasha’s hair really look CGI? And if so, could it be to hide yet another hair-raising transformation for Black Widow? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. Here’s the synopsis for Endgame:
“Adrift in space with no food or water, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers — Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner — must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos — the evil demigod who decimated the planet and the universe.”
Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26, 2019.
