‘Black Widow’ Promo Image Spotlights Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova

A brand new promotional image for Black Widow gives us a better look at Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova.

Scarlett Johansson’s solo outing as Black Widow is finally upon us after years of waiting. In Black Widow, fans will finally be able to see the titular character explore her past and go on her own adventure. Joining Black Widow is her sister figure Yelena Belova, played by Little Women star Florence Pugh.

Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova is also another Black Widow who was trained in the same Red Room as Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff. With Black Widow on the verge of hitting cinemas and the marketing ramping up, we finally have a brand new look at Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova. The brand new look at Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova comes in the form of a Marvel Topps collectible card.

In the image, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova is wearing the white Black Widow suit that we saw in the film’s first trailer. In the film, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will be joining Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow as they confront their past and come to their with their make-shift family. Joining Florence Pugh and Scarlett Johansson are Rachel Weisz and David Harbour, with the first three all being formally trained Black Widows.

In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

Directed by Cate Shortland from a script written by Eric Pearson based on a story by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson, Marvel Studios’ Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, Ray Winstone, Olivier Richters, and Rachel Weisz.

Black Widow will be released in theaters on May 1, 2020.
