A decade after Scarlett Johansson her first appearance as Natasha Romanoff in Iron Man 2, the heroine will finally take the lead in Marvel Studios’ long-awaited Black Widow. Due to be released in May, the film will be set in between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War and will find Romanoff revisiting important people from her past.
Furthermore, Black Widow will also see Scarlett Johansson a bran new white outfit for her first standalone film. Now, Empire Magazine has revealed the cover of its upcoming issue for the Marvel Studios film and it gives fans their latest look at the new costume.

In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.
Directed by Cate Shortland from a script written by Eric Pearson based on a story by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson, Marvel Studios’ Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, Ray Winstone, Olivier Richters, and Rachel Weisz.
Black Widow will be released in theaters on May 1, 2020.
