‘Black Widow’ Star Scarlett Johansson Shows Huge Back Tattoo In SAG Awards Dress

Black Widow star Scarlett Johansson revealed her massive back tattoo while walking the red carpet at the SAG Awards.

A full decade after making her first appearance as Black Widow in Iron Man 2, Scarlett Johansson will finally take the lead in the eponymous heroine’s first standalone film. Due to be released in theaters this summer, Black Widow is expected to deliver more insight into Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff long before she became a founding member of The Avengers.

In the meantime, Scarlett Johansson is celebrated for her acclaimed performances in both Marriage Story and Jojo Rabbit, for which she received two separate SAG Award nominations. For the ceremony, Scarlett Johansson wore a teal green halter gown that revealed her massive floral back tattoo.

In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger.

Directed by Cate Shortland from a script written by Eric Pearson based on a story by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson, Black Widow stars Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O-T Fagbenle, Ray Winstone, Olivier Richters, and Rachel Weisz.

Black Widow will be released in theaters on May 1, 2020.
