UPDATE: The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Fargo star Bokeem Woodbine has joined the massive cast of Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming. The trade has revealed that he’ll be playing a villain in the movie, meaning that the web-slinger will be going up against at least three antagonists in his next big screen adventure.
While it hasn’t been officially confirmed by Marvel or Sony, it appears that Bokeem Woodbine, who you may know best from such films as Riddick & Total Recall and most recently appeared in the second season of FX’s Fargo, may just be the latest to join the ever growing cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming. A local television personality tweeted out the following image a few days back saying that the actor was in town filming the upcoming Marvel Studios & Sony release.
There’s currently no solid word at the moment regarding this one but be sure to stay tuned for any further updates regarding this news. If Woodbine is indeed a member of the film’s cast, he’ll join a very impressive cast consisting of Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Michael Barbieri, Kenneth Choi, Tony Revolori, Marisa Tomei, Donald Glover, Martin Starr, Logan Marshall-Green, Haniball Buress, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendebork Jr., JJ Totah, Selenis Levya, Abraham Attah & Michael Mando when Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters on July 7, 2017.
