Brandon Routh Shares Heartfelt Message On Last Day Of ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’

Brandon Routh, DC Comics legend whose graced the roles of both Superman and Atom shared a heartfelt message to fans on his last day on the set of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. 

On his official Instagram profile, Brandon Routh shared a few special photos from his last day on the Legends of Tomorrow set. In this post, we see him in his Atom suit preparing for a green screen shot among other behind-the-scenes photos including some special parting gifts honoring Brandon Routh’s five season run with Legends of Tomorrow. 

Brandon Routh’s post included a heartfelt message to fans who have supported him and the rest of the series after all this time. He laments that he has never had an acting job that lasted as long as his role on Legends of Tomorrow and expresses his gratitude for the opportunity despite the challenges that the show had to endure. Along with his role as Atom in Legends of Tomorrow, Brandon Routh is widely recognized by DC Comics fans for his role as Clark Kent AKA Superman in the 2006 film, Superman Returns. Interestingly enough, Brandon Routh will once again play Superman in the upcoming Arrowverse crossover Crisis On Infinite Earths, where he will portray the Kingdom Come version of Superman.

Crisis On Infinite Earths will span two quarters and consist of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. The Arrowverse crossover will launch with three episodes in December before concluding with two additional episodes in January.
