‘Deadpool 2’: Brianna Hildebrand Teases Her Role As Negasonic Teenage Warhead

After the teaser for Deadpool 2 in front of Logan, Brianna Hildebrand is now teasing the film even further. While at SXSW, Hildebrand spoke about how Negasonic Teenage Warhead will change for the sequel.

“I’ve not yet actually read the script,” Hildebrand confessed, “but I do think she will be a lot cooler, based on the wardrobe ideas and stuff. I’m very excited.” She explained she’d just seen some concept art, “Just some ideas, nothing that’s concrete or anything. But I think it’s cool that she’s grown and matured and she still has so much of this essence of a punk kid.”

Negasonic Teenage Warhead was already an amazing addition to the first Deadpool film, but having her alongside the likes of Cable and Domino will be even sweeter. Not only that, but Hildebrand’s tease of the character being even cooler in the sequel gets the hype train rolling even faster. Hopefully with a likely larger budget, we’ll get to see Negasonic Teenage Warhead use her powers a bit more.

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Deadpool 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on Jan 12th, 2018, but is likely going to be pushed back a bit.
