A new behind-the-scenes photo from Avengers: Endgame gives fans a closer look at Brie Larson’s new hairdo for her role as Captain Marvel.
Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers amazed a lot of fans when she made her official debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Captain Marvel managed to get favorable criticism from experts and fans alike and it did considerably well at the box office, passing the $1 billion mark globally. In her solo movie, Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers had long, scrawny hair and she didn’t really look like her comic book counterpart. That was until Avengers: Endgame came along.
Although the post-credits scene for Captain Marvel and the first few minutes of Avengers: Endgame featured Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel with that same hairdo, Carol has short hair after those five years pass and Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man shows up at the Avengers Compound. Check out the photo of Brie Larson below.
Avengers: Endgame doesn’t explain why Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel decides to get a new hairstyle but Rocket Raccon does make fun of her for changing it. This new hairdo came along with a new and more comic-accurate suit for Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers, who is expected to return in future Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
