Academy Award-winner Brie Larson, who is set to play the titular heroine in 'Captain Marvel' was seen at an Air Force Base preparing for the role.
Larson has been seen preparing for the role in numerous ways. Along with the typical physical training required for a superhero role, Larson has also been seen doing her research by reading Captain Marvel comics to gain a good understanding of the character.
Recently, Larson was shown to be taking her preparation to another level. An Instagram user shared a selfie he had with Larson at the Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. The actress was there preparing for Captain Marvel:
In the comics, Carol Danvers serves in the U.S. Air Force as an officer and Security Chief of a restricted military base.
It is nice to see that Larson is taking her role very seriously through numerous means, but her visiting the Nellis Air Force Base showcases a sense of respect for those serving in the Air Force.

Larson will be joined by Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as Doctor Walter Lawson, a.k.a. Mar-Vell and DeWanda Wise in an undisclosed role. Ben Mendelsohn is also in talks to join the film as the villain. He will likely play the leader of the Skrulls, a race of shape-shifting aliens from the comics which are set to make their first appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the film.
Mississipi Grind directors Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck are set to helm the project from a script written by Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Nicole Perlman, and Meg LeFauve. The project is expected to begin filming in February of 2018.
