Brie Larson’s ‘Captain Marvel’ Gets An Official Rating

Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel is getting closer to its release and now it has received an official rating by the Motion Picture Association of America.

Captain Marvel has officially been rated as PG-13 for “sequences of sci-fi violence and action, and brief suggestive language.’ With the film being set in both space and Earth among possible new worlds there is no doubt that there will be some incredible action sequences that will justify the rating. Brie Larson is ready to grace the screen with the powerful Captain Marvel and from what we’ve seen in the trailers she doesn’t seem to be holding back on the the threats that she faces.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe films have all been rated PG-13 and still hold some very intense moments so there is no telling as to how Captain Marvel will exactly be, but there will be some suggestive language in the film. Is it possible Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury drops a famous word or two? We’ll have to wait and see as we get more news for the film. For now, fans expect to learn the film’s official runtime soon now that it has been rated.

What do you think of the film’s rating? Are you excited to see Brie Larson as Captain Marvel? Share your thoughts below!
