Captain Marvel is Marvel Studios’ first female-led superhero film. The film is tracking for a massive opening weekend at the box office and most fans can’t wait to see Carol Danvers on the big screen. Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson and will introduce audiences to new characters and bring familiar faces along as well with Samuel L Jackson’s Nick Fury and Clark Gregg’s Phil Coulson. Now with only two weeks remaining until the film’s release it appears it has received an official runtime.
The British Board of Film Classification has officially revealed that the film will be approximately two hours and four minutes long. The film appears to have a similar runtime to Captain America: The First Avenger. The movie will not be short and appears should have more than enough time to introduce audiences to Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers.
