In a recent interview with BuzzFeed Brasil, the star of the upcoming Captain Marvel superhero film Brie Larson was questioned whether or not her superhero could lift Mjölnir, with the actress simply smiling and saying “definitely.”
This actually does make quite a bit of sense if you think about it. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has already confirmed that Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel will be the strongest character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, so it would make perfect sense how she would be able to lift it.
Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck with a script from them as well as Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Jac Schaeffer, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.
Captain Marvel will be released in theatres on March 8, 2019, by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
