Brie Larson & Clark Gregg Reunite For ‘Captain Marvel’ Reshoots

It looks like Carol Danvers might get to punch more Skrulls in the face soon. Perhaps. While principal photography and filming on the upcoming Captain Marvel film has already wrapped, the film is now set to undergo some reshoots to fully wrap up the project, and some photos have revealed that Brie Larson, as well as Clark Gregg, are already back on set for the additional photography.

The photos showcase both Clark Gregg’s Agent Coulson back on set with a full head of hair, but also Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers back in the Kree suit seen in the early set photos and trailer released a few months ago. No word yet on when other cast members from the Captain Marvel film will also return for reshoots, depending both on availability and just what exactly is being done for reshoots, but that may come later on down the line. Here, have a look at some of the photos listed in the tweet below.

With reshoots underway, some will no doubt begin to speculate just what is being reshot, but as is per usual with just about any movie, not just comic-based adaptations, reshoots are part of the process. They’re the norm, not the exception, like in some extreme cases. With Brie Larson and Clark Gregg being on set, could this be potentially tying up loose ends to set up either Avengers 4 or what we know will come later on in the Marvel Cinematic Universe past the 1990s?

Or, heck, given where we last “left” Agent Coulson in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which was recently renewed for a seventh season, could there be a tie into that? All baseless speculation on my part, yes, but we shall see. Meanwhile, when do you believe we will get another trailer for Captain Marvel? And what do you hope to see in it? Let us know in the comments below.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck, Captain Marvel stars Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, Mckenna Grace, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

The film will fly into theaters on March 8, 2019.
