Comics Artist Bryan Hitch Takes A Dig At Zack Snyder’s ‘Batman Kills’ Comments

On his Twitter account, comic book artist Bryan Hitch responded to Zack Snyder’s comment about Batman killing and shared his thoughts on the filmmaker’s DC Extended Universe films.

During a Q&A session at a screening event for a few of his projects, Zack Snyder responded to complaints about his controversial decision to have Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader kill in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. His comments about fans needing to “wake up” and that they’re “living in a f—–g dream world” if they think heroes are innocent were not well received by many and comic book artist Bryan Hitch was among those who took to social media to respond. In a Twitter post, Bryan Hitch took a dig at Zack Snyder’s comment by joking about making a comic in which Mickey Mouse is driven to kill others:

“I feel compelled to try my hand at a Mickey Mouse comic in which, driven by his own demons and life in the modern age of family entertainment, he fucking kills everybody ‘cos, Wake the fuck UP people…”

Bryan Hitch added that he likes Zack Snyder’s Watchmen and 300, but noted that his thoughts on Man of Steel and Batman v Superman are less positive:

“I thought MOS was a missed opportunity for greatness and BvS was just dull. I know a lot about JL and what Joss got to work with as well FYI.”
