Bryan Singer Reveals Another ‘Big’ Mutant Making An Appearance In ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

Well, it looks like the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse has some more mutants up it’s sleeve than expected as director Bryan Singer has revealed a new image from the film featuring a character whose appearance had been kept under wraps until now. While Singer doesn’t directly state it, it appears that ‘Angel’ will be taking on Fred Dukes aka ‘The Blob’ in the mutant fight club sequence of the upcoming release.

Who is the actor playing the classic X-Men villain? Well, that is currently unknown at the moment but it’s defintely a cool addition to the film. Check out the new image below and sound off with your thoughts in the comments section below.

“Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.”

Only the strong will survive when X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27, 2016.
