Major spoilers ahead for Bumblebee!
In the first mid-credits scene, Bumblebee and Optimus Prime meet in a forest where Optimus warns Bumblebee about what is coming. The two then look up in the sky and see seven Autobots falling, getting ready to crash-land onto Earth.
The second mid-credits scene features Hailee Steinfield’s Charlie Watson trying to fix the same red car her father and her have been trying to fix for years. The car hasn’t started since her father passed away due to a sudden heart attack but by the end of the scene, she finally gets it to start and goes for a ride.

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfied), on the crusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
Bumblebee will be released in theaters on December 21, 2018.
