Latest ‘Bumblebee’ TV Spot Offers New Scenes With Charlie

This December, the sixth overall installment in the colossal Transformers film series titled Bumblebee arrives in theatres, with a much different style than the predecessors. With Bumblebee, director Travis Knight aims to create a more grounded and emotional story in this universe, instead of the usual action extravaganza millions of fans are so used to seeing by now. We have already gotten several trailers for the upcoming film, and today,  a new television spot has arrived that offers a couple of new scenes with Charlie Watson (played by Hailee Steinfeld).

In terms of the new scenes, we first see Charlie talking to a mechanic at a workshop who owns Bumblebee, with her saying that she will work there for a year if it means she can get the car. The man then agrees to give her the car. Additionally, we see multiple scenes of various other Transformers including Optimus Prime (voiced by Peter Cullen) and several action scenes throughout. This promo also shows us some emotional scenes with Charlie talking to Bumblebee telling him she will be by his side in the fight. We also see Charlie, Memo (Jorge Lendeborg Jr.) and Bumblebee throwing toilet paper on trees. You can check out the TV spot below.

Bumblebee will be released in theatres on December 21, 2018, by Paramount Pictures.

Twenty years before the events of the first film, in 1987, Bumblebee takes refuge in a small California beach town junkyard, where a teenage girl named Charlie Watson takes him in. However, the two of them soon find themselves hunted by a government agency known as Sector 7, led by Agent Burns. As they run from society, the two learn that Bee is not the only Transformer on Earth, and that the others might not be as friendly.

Directed by Travis Knight with a script from Christina Hodson, Bumblebee stars Hailee Steinfeld, John Cena, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., John Ortiz, Jason Drucker, and Pamela Adlon.
