WB and DC comics have brought on 'Bumblebee' writer Christina Hodson to pen a script for an upcoming untitled film set in the DC extended universe.
Aside from Bumblebee, a potential series for AMC, and a reboot script for The Fugitive, Deadline is also reporting that she is currently working on an untitled film set in the DC extended universe. Hodson was a late addition to Michael Bay and Paramount’s “writer’s room”, dedicated to the staff responsible for penning the Hasbro universe.
Joining Hasbro’s second female writer, Lindsey Beer, Hodson was responsible for the script that made filming the Transformers spin-off in 2018 possible. Bumblebee is high in CGI and most likely Michael Bay style devestation, so she should be a shoe-in with DC.
It is unknown right now which film that Hodson will be lending her talents to, but my best guesses are either Harley Quinn solo film, the Man of Steel sequel, or possibly the eventual Green Lantern Corps.
