Since his first appearance as Jeremiah in Gotham, fans have wondered if that character would eventually go on to become The Joker. After several episodes and teases from showrunners and producers in this sense, the final look for Jeremiah as an early version of the Joker has made its way online. It seems the series finale for Gotham will feature The Clown Prince of Crime in all his glory and, if we might add, a very bizarre looking one at that:
This may be one of the strangest versions we’ve seen of The Joker up until now, be it on film or television. The prosthetics on Cameron Monaghan’s face accentuate his factions in a very scary way. Maybe the showrunners and producers of the show were trying to convey The Joker’s craziness through this make-up and Cameron Monaghan’s already convincing take of the DC villain.
Cameron Monaghan isn’t the only character in Gotham using physical aids for his final performance. David Mazouz will also be featured as Batman before the series ends later this year, but the show will use a body double for his stunts as the Caped Crusader. Although, Mazouz will still be the man under the cowl and act out every scene.
