‘Gotham’ Makeup Artist Shares Up-Close Look At Cameron Monaghan’s Joker

Special effects makeup artist Ben Bornstein has shared an up-close look at Cameron Monaghan as The Joker for the Gotham series finale.

Gotham fans have eagerly anticipated the final episode of the series so that they could see their favorite characters fully embody their comic book counterparts. While there are many characters on the show, a fan-favorite has always been The Joker, played by Cameron Monaghan. While the character has donned various iconic Joker looks, many fans were excited to see his final one.

Recently, Gotham makeup artist Ben Bornstein took to Instagram to post an up-close look at Cameron Monaghan’s final Joker look. You can check out the Instagram post below!

While the Gotham series finale aired on Thursday night, the episode had to balance many different characters and had very little time to really show off Joker’s new look. The look for Cameron Monaghan’s Joker seems to be completely original, depicting him as a somewhat decrepit-looking clown. While Gotham may have come to an end, the series finale delivered on the promise of showing each of their characters as their comic-accurate self with the finale showing the final evolution for classic DC characters like The Penguin, The Riddler, and even Batman. Overall, Gotham had a great five-year run and seems to have pleased many of its fans with its final episode. What did you think of the Gotham finale? What do you think of the Joker’s new look? Let us know down below!

Here’s the official synopsis for Gotham‘s Series Finale “The Beginning…”:
