An astute fan has discovered something very interesting regarding the comic books children are buying at the end of Captain America: The First Avenger.
Fans remember the children purchasing Captain America comics in the sendoff montage towards the end of the fourth film of MCU. One fan realized that the cover, which is an actual cover of the real life comics the film is based on, has been slightly altered. The original feature Cap’s young Ally Bucky at the bottom of the cover. In the film this portion of the infamous Captain America #1 issue has been removed.

This does make sense given the story the films use. Also Bucky had recently died and wasn’t well known until the Captain America exhibit was erected seen in the film’s sequel Captain America: The Winter Soldier. So this was obviously done to not confuse fans or mess with their existing continuity. Its crazy to remember Cap back then as he has come such along way to the events of the upcoming Avengers 4 which may in fact is the Captain’s last mission. Here is hoping Steve Rogers gets the ending he deserves whether it is in the follow-up to Infinity War or the distant future of the MCU.
Avengers 4 is directed by The Russo Brothers and stars Scarlett Johansson, Danai Gurira, Mark Ruffalo, Don Cheadle, Karen Gillan, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Josh Brolin, Jeremy Renner, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly Gwyneth Paltrow, and Letitia Wright.
Avengers 4 is set to hit theaters on May 3, 2019.
