Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame is roughly two months away from arriving in theaters and fans are bracing themselves for the deaths of some long-time MCU heroes, with Chris Evans’ Captain America widely regarded as one of the most likely casualties of the next battle against Thanos. Those expectations were exacerbated after Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo shared a fan-made tribute video to Captain America on their official Twitter account, which resulted in fans believing that Chris Evans’ retirement from the role was all but confirmed.
