New details about Marvel's Captain America: Civil War tease Spider-Man's role in the highly-anticipated comic book movie.
Now, while the outlet didn’t reveal which character, I’d say it’s a safe bet that he may not be #TeamCap. Especially considering that he was on Iron Man’s side originally in the comics before switching over the Steve Rogers team. Well, that and it’s been rumored for quite some time that he would be on Iron Man’s side.
Here’s the official synopsis for Captain America: Civil War:
“Captain America: Civil War picks up where Avengers: Age Of Ultron left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.”
